A lot of people haven’t given up on God or Jesus, but are about to give up or already have given up on the church because of its silence about racism and its exclusion of LGBTQIA people.

Sycamore Creek is a church that has moved from the suburbs into the city to start a NEW campus to be an asset to the community by platforming artists, entrepreneurs, and all people who are multi-culturally curious, creative and compassionate. We keep the best of faith and leave the rest. We love Jesus AND justice.

So if you're looking for a NEW faith community that is CURIOUS, where you don't have to check your questions or your brain at the door; is CREATIVE, you can experiment and try new things "playing jazz" on traditions; and is COMPASSIONATE, including everyone (Black, brown, male, female, LGBTQIA, etc.); then Sycamore Creek’s NEW Eastwood Campus is the church for you to check out.
Sycamore Creek has remodeled and launched a new campus in the church building (with the red tin roof) across from Eastwood Towne Center. Besides being a church, this new campus houses Stage One, a performing arts center that four local community theater groups perform on and platforms artists of all kinds as well as an incubator kitchen for food startups and a community garden to grow fresh produce for local food banks. We have two other campuses at S Lansing (1919 S Penn) and Potterville (105 N Church St.).
