Why not wake up a little early and experience Tokyo's largest festival, Sanja Festival?
On May 18, the final day, the festival reaches its peak. We’ll watch the Miyadashi (sending out), the grand mikoshi (portable shrines) departure ceremony, feel the festive energy of Asakusa, and end the tour with a traditional Japanese "morning" breakfast, a symbol of Japan’s coffeehouse culture. Come experience the excitement of Sanja Festival and immerse yourself in Japanese traditions.

About Sanja Matsuri (Three shrines Festival)
Sanja Matsuri is one of Japan’s most iconic traditional festivals, with over 700 years of history. Three portable shrines parade through Asakusa. It’s no exaggeration to say that this festival ushers in the Japanese summer.

Date & Time: Sunday, May 18, 2025 | 7:20 AM - 10:00 AM
Meeting Spot: 7:20 AM in front of Kamiya Bar
Admission Fee: ¥500 for returning participants, ¥1,000 for first-timers

Schedule
7:20 - 7:30 Meet in front of Kamiya Bar
7:30 - 8:20 Watch the Miyadashi at Sensoji Temple
8:20 - 8:40 Walk through Asakusa, enjoying the festival atmosphere
8:40 - 10:00 Wait for café opening at 9:00 AM, enjoy a classic "morning" breakfast, then disband on-site

Kissa Brazil - Established in 1943, famous for its incredible katsu sandwich

一番の見どころの'宮出し’を見物し、熱気を感じる浅草を観光しながら、最後は日本の喫茶文化の象徴 'morning' を食べてみましょう。 三社祭の熱気を間近で体感し、日本の文化に触れましょう！

三社祭とは
初夏の風物詩である三社祭は、約700年の歴史を誇る日本を代表する伝統的な祭りの一つです。 このお祭りの勢いが日本の夏を呼んでくるといっても過言ではありません。

開催日時　2025年5月18日（日）7:20～10:00
集合場所　7:20 神谷バー前
参加費　二回目以降の 500円、初回参加者 1000円

タイムスケジュール
7:20-7:30　神谷バー前に集合
7:30-8:20　浅草寺で宮出しを見物
8:20-8:40　喫茶店に移動しながら浅草と祭りを楽しむ
8:40- 10:00 9:00 喫茶店の開店を待ち、morningを楽しむ。現地解散
