Edward Weniger has been involved in the Midwest technology scene for the past 15 years, as a business owner, technologist, and consultant. His vision is to increase recognition for Omaha/Lincoln as a Fintech hub. His firm, Alpha Bitcoin, installed Nebraska's first bitcoin ATM at Jones Bros Cupcakes in Aksarben and built the world’s first bitcoin arcade at AIM Infotec 2016. He has spoken on the subject of bitcoin at AIM Infotec as well as the Nebraska Bankers Conference. He has run several events within the Fintech and blockchain community including Coinfest Midwest, the Digital Economy Conference, and the Omaha Bitcoin Meetup. In his free time, Edward enjoys spending time with his family, jogging, and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
