Dear friends,

Join us on Saturday, May 31st at 10 AM for our monthly meeting, Tea Sangha, to enjoy tea, connect, practice mindfulness and bring more love and peace to our hearts and our climate/planet actions.

What to expect from the meeting (1.5 hours):

  • Introduction
  • Tea & mindfulness practice (herbal tea will be provided)
  • Group reading of the Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet book written by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh
  • Sharing

This Spring, we have launched our monthly tea gatherings rooted in the mindfulness tradition. During the next several months of our Tea Sangha practices, we will be studying the Zen Buddhist teaching on climate action based on Thich Nhat Hanh’s book Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet. Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet shows us a new way of seeing and living that can bring healing and harmony to ourselves, our relationships, and the Earth.

As beloved Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh said, “When you wake up and you see that the Earth is not just the environment, the Earth is us, you touch the nature of interbeing.” Join us in our effort to bring more peace and healing to ourselves and to our planet.
