Join Cog Wild's professional coaches and the same cohort of like minded riders to learn the fundamentals of mountain biking in level 1 or hone your skills in level 2. Both levels are offered in each session, participants will be grouped by ability in order to progress and get individualized instruction and feedback.
Each session meets on consecutive Mondays from 5 to 7:30PM at Cog Wild Bicycle Tours at 19221 SW Century Drive.
Here are the dates for the 2025 Progression Sessions:
- May 12th, 19th, May 26th (memorial day)
- June 2nd, 9th, June 16th
- 8am start: June 30th, July 7th, 14th
- 8am start: August 11th, 18th, 25th
- 5pm start: September 8th, 15th, 22nd

### Rider Level
The Level 1 Gravel Progression Session is geared towards folks who are newish to gravel riding and want to have more fun and gain the confidence to adventure further.
### The Experience
- Please attend both days:
- Day 1: Bike/tire setup, body position, braking technique.
- Day 2: Develop body position to allow for confident climbing and descending and riding rougher terrain.

- Drops for OldiesSeventh Mountain, Oregon, Seventh Mountain, OR$95.00
### Rider Level and Requirements
-DFO is geared towards experienced riders who can trail ride well, has maybe attempted drops before and now looking to dial in the fundamentals to progress safely.
-Bring a well maintained bike with disc brakes and at least a 120mm of full suspension travel.
-Wear a helmet and knee pads, elbow and other body armor is recommended.
-Meet at 5pm at the Seventh Mountain Resort Skills Area### Terrain & Trails
The class will take place at a skills park at the Seventh Mountain Resort just outside of Bend. The coach will mercilessly drill in safe fundamental technique on drops. Take a deep dive into the body movements, speed and timing of drop technique. Start with rolling drops and progress to larger drops as appropriate for each rider.
Meeting Location
The class meets at the Skills Park at the Seventh mountain Resort. Park in any spot and find the skills park to the north near the tennis courtsAdvance registration is required: please register online via Cog Wild's website.

### Rider Level and requirements
JFO is geared towards experienced riders who can trail ride well, has maybe attempted jumps before and now looking to understand the fundamentals so you can develop your air time and control.
-Bring a well maintained modern mountain bike. Hardtails are ok, a full suspension with disc brakes is recommended.
-Either a full face or open face helmet is ok, knee and elbow pads are recommended
-Must be willing to push your bike back to the top of the Phils jumps or Lair jumps repeatedly
-Meet at the class start time ready to ride with your bike ready to go### Terrain & Trails
Students will spend day #1 at Seventh Mountain skills park mercilessly drilled in safe fundamental technique on jumps.
Day #2 has students applying their new skills at the The Lair2025 Jumping for Oldies Dates:
May 20th and 22nd
