Cogniflux Open Lab
Details
Cogniflux Open Lab is the Brussels-based cognitive training ground. Members take on a circuit of adaptive drills to practice focus, idea generation and mental stamina.
Who is it for?
Cogniflux Lab is designed for people who want a premium and social cognitive training practice.
This is particularly relevant to those who:
- Think and solve problems for a living
- Are intentional in cultivating stronger focus and creative capacity
- Invest in themselves and choose to grow
Cogniflux Lab is not for people who need therapy or clinical neuro-rehab, and it doesn’t replace medical care. It’s for generally healthy adults who want to push their thinking, confront its limits and overcome them.
What is the practice for?
Our drills are designed to stimulate the brain’s core control functions: working memory, cognitive flexibility, and inhibitory control. Together, these recruit the brain regions we rely on when work is not automatic. This is what we use to sustain focus, solve problems, understand and produce complex language, and keep our thinking accurate when tired, stressed or interrupted.
The session
An Open Lab session is one hour of coached group session divided in three steps:
- Warm-up: activate body and mind so you’re ready to practice.
- Circuit practice: rotate through stations at an adjusted difficulty. Perform brain-body drills that combine thinking and physical exercise, plus creative sprints that push idea generation with others.
- Cooldown: reset to consolidate the effort and leave feeling composed.
The stations
The circuit is made of adaptive, individual stations that capture decisions and reaction times, so each drill adjusts to your performance. This unlocks a training experience that is more effective, more challenging, and more enjoyable.
The Dashboard
Performance is tracked across sessions in the cognitive domains you practice. Your data feeds a personal dashboard showing how you executed the drills and how you’re progressing over time.
Evidence-informed
Cogniflux Lab designs its circuits based on peer-reviewed research. We translate insights from cognitive neuroscience and experimental neuropsychology into practical drills, drawing on studies conducted with healthy adults.
