Please note: This meetup has been renamed from "Vancouver - Big Data University" to Vancouver - Cognitive, AI & Data Science Meetup.

This meetup is for anyone who is interested in data: Big data, analytics, data science, etc. It is a technical meetup that will teach you many topics using a hands-on/workshop approach with free access to a Cloud environment. It aligns very well with our other community initiative: Cognitive Class. Cognitive Class provides free @yourpace @yourplace online learning about data. Most of our meetups from now on will be supported by a Cognitive Class course.

Our meetups are FREE, and allow you to network with fellow members and partner with other companies. Meetup topics include: Big data overview, deriving value from wearable tech data, predictive analytics on the cloud, tapping into IBM Watson cognitive computing technology, big data and cloud for the little guy, leveraging free or cheap tools to kickstart your startup, and many more!
