XMAS IN MAY! THURSDAY EVENING, 6PM, MAY 29, 2014

After a hiatus, please join us for fun and education evening and learn how to profit from coin collecting! We'll show and tell about the why's and how's of coins and their origins, ways to collect and sources (online and in person) to obtain coins. Handling, storing, condition and grading, "eye appeal," valuing coins and "investing' are other topics to be explored. Your questions will be answered and fact sheets distributed.

We will celebrate a belated Xmas! There're be presents of collecting accessories, books and magazines including several free copies of the US coin collectors' bible, the "Red Book." A number of American classic coins will be door prizes: Indian head pennies, Buffalo nickles, Barber and Mercury Dimes.

Empharise is on learning to be knowledgeable, even more so than a dealer and profit. Remember: Buy the book (and study it) before you buy the coin! Knowledge is power!
