The ColaJazz Meetup Group aims to bring jazz lovers, musicians, and dancers together for evenings of the best in Midlands music. We'll be going to such local venues as Blue Moon Ballroom, The Joint, The Aristocrat, Halls, Smoked, as well as, checking out new spots! Meanwhile, please take a look at our affiliate group, ColaDance: they also have a lot of live-music get-togethers.

Edwin G. Hamilton is professional musician, recording artist, and educator. As a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, his dedication to the art of music is inspiring. Edwin earned a Jazz Fellowship to study with Herlin Riley in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has toured both nationally and internationally with various artists.

Bring the family, spread out on the lawn, and kick off the first weekend of December with great music, vendors, fresh air, and family & friends.
Finlay Park—newly reopened after its major 2025 revitalization—is once again a jewel in downtown Columbia. The redesigned space features upgraded playgrounds, pickleball courts, a fitness center, and a convenient landing station for water, sunscreen, and rollerblade rentals. Its new performance venue is built for moments just like this!
