Duration: Approx. 1 hour
Meeting will be recorded. URL will be posted after meeting on the Meetup Message Board (in the first msg)

Our second speaker on Feb 7 at 6pm EST will be Peter Bell, presenting a reprise of his "Practical Code Generation" talk from 2 weeks ago, which was postponed then due to communications problems on his end while traveling. Again, it's a preview of his session for the upcoming CFUnited Europe event (https://europe.cfunite... (https://europe.cfunited.com/)) being held March 12-13th in London. These preview talks will be about half the duration of the full hour-long sessions, giving a taste of what the full session would cover.

Description (provided by the speaker):

A 20-30 minute preview session of my full session where we'd learn how to generate your applications in a fraction of the time by using the latest techniques proven to reduce application development times - from Software Product Lines to Domain Specific Languages.

About Peter Bell:

Peter Bell is a passionate advocate of Application Generation and meta-programming in ColdFusion and writes the popular Application Generation blog (https://www.pbell.com)... (https://www.pbell.com)). He has lectured internationally on using ColdFusion for application generation and to create software product lines and runs a company (https://www.systemsfor... (https://www.systemsforge.com)) that generates custom applications quickly and cost effectively.

Notices:

PLEASE NOTE: when you login to the Connect room (the experts.acrobat.com/cfmeetup link above) to view the meeting, PLEASE LOGIN AS A GUEST. Do NOT attempt to use your meetup.com username/password. The login screen presented there has no connection to meetup.com. And if you have a real Connect account, don't use that either. Just sign in as a guest. It's just not worth the time to try to track who RSVPs and add them manually as participants in each meeting. You have no fewer features as a guest as when you would login with your own account. Thanks.

As always, we do appreciate folks RSVPing if they plan to come (using the link on this email or at the meetup site), though it's not mandatory and it's not a commitment. BTW, no need to RSVP if you can't make it nor even explain why you can't. With 1,300+ members, there's really no reason to explain your absence. :-) We'll also appreciate your sharing your feedback after the meeting (also offered via a follow-up email or via a link on the site).

Finally, again, the recording URL will be posted on the Meetup Message Board, which can also be reached directly via https://tinyurl.com/2d... (https://tinyurl.com/2dbdnk)
