About us
These collage workshops are part of a larger project where images are exchanged between friends around the world to create artworks from found materials. With members of the A/pART Collective bored of looking at and communicating through screens, we decided to go analogue! Image exchanges through snail mail, artworks made with hands and face to face workshops.
A/pART Collective consists of artists across the globe interested in community and connecting through the arts. We believe the arts are for everyone, and that art is essential to our health. These inclusive workshops are open to all abilities and skill levels. Experienced artists will find opportunities to connect, and new artists will be supported to try new skills. The A/pART Collective hopes to exhibit some of the works created through the project in the future.
WHERE: Paddington Substation for Arts, 150 Enoggera Tce
WHEN: Workshops are fortnightly on Monday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00pm
COST: Workshops are $20 Adults/$15 Concession. The cost of living crisis is biting, there is a pay what you can option when booking. Companions free with companion card holders.
