Building the 'network state'

This will be a meetup to introduce the group and the core text behind much of our activity, 'The Network State' by Balaji Srinivasan. The text is available at the site below.

The meetup will begin informally at 6.00 but the talk will start at 7.00 pm. This will be a 30 minute talk introducing this text at the start of the event. In this event we will also discuss the general avtivities and orgainsation of the Collective Futurists.

Some of the history of those behind this group will be provided and we look at the experience of other up and running communities and those that have failed to see what can be learnt from them.

Although we plan talks on issues of interest to Futurists in general a key objective is to unite and co-ordinate those interested in creating a network state.

We look forward to seeing the members of this group at the event. The event itself will be held in a pub in Central London but we will have a Zoom feed so that it will be possible for those not in London to connect with us.

There will be a WhatsApp group for this event as there will be many new people. The event location will be released first into the WhatsApp group but will be close to Charing Cross underground.
