A welcoming monthly sing along session and Knees Up at the Tea House Theatre, which is 5 minutes walk from Vauxhall tube and railway Station. Unusually for London, 90% of the audience join in singing the choruses by the end of the evening, and 50% at the beginning. But we do take two twenty minute breaks, so all guests have spots of time to take a break from singing choruses, for chatting, drinking and eating
A link to a video of clips of our performance there in June 2023 is below.

It's a relaxing and warm interior, with drinks and good quality hot food. The menu is a selection of early C19th traditional sea food dishes (and snacks) featured in the Master and Commander book series.
It is a ticketed event and you can now buy tickets at two prices, £10 for entry only and £15 for entry and rum. The Tea House Theatre's website is
www.teahousetheatre.co.uk.(There were some problems with the on line ticket system, the system added a 'Shipping Charge' of £6, in the mistaken assumption that the sale was for buying a tea pot. But I am pleased to say that this problem has now been fixed) So this website now has a functioning on line ticket purchasing system

As you enter their site there's a banner at the top of their main page which says 'Buy tickets for Shanty' and select a £10 ticket for entry only, or £15 for ticket and rum

Or you can phone the Tea House Theatre on 020 7207 4585, and you can buy a ticket that way, and ask them to save you a table near the front of the stage- if you're a keen chorus singer, or as far away as possible, of course, if you have sensitive ears
Those who dress as sailors get favourable treatment. All guests can request songs from our sixty strong song list, and join us on stage to sing one, if they are brave enough
