What we’re about
Do you love to read? Are you looking to expand your social circle? Are you often seeking to discuss your latest read with others? Do you like to go out for wine, dinner or brunch with like minded ladies? Are you looking for interesting authors to read? Then this is the group for you! We’ll read all sorts of interesting materials, both fiction and nonfiction (we’ll vote on selections of course). Come meet new friends and find interesting reads. Please note that a picture of your face is required for membership (no avatars, no photos of you facing backwards). This will help us to identify you during events. Ladies only, please do not bring pets or children.
Please be respectful of your hosts and the time and energy involved in putting together events.
Be mindful of:
-
the number of events you sign up for; frequently changing RSVP to Not Going, or waiting until the last minute to cancel (24 hours notice, if not more, is preferred)
-
RSVPing and then never checking back, update your RSVP as soon as possible if you cannot attend
-
YOU MAY BE ASKED TO CONFIRM YOUR RSVP or risk being moved to "not going". Read updates and details on the event page several days in advance of an event
-
no-shows. You may not be allowed to join certain activities in the future, such as book clubs, if you no-show. You're preventing someone else from being able to come when there's a waitlist. Multiple no-shows and short notice cancellations will result in removal from the group.
We thank all the group members who are diligent with their RSVPs! We have some great ladies and hope to continue to foster genuine friendships. See you soon!

$40, BUY TIX HEREJoin us for a warm and grounding Lughnasadh Wreath-Making Workshop!
This is the seventh in our series honoring the Wheel of the Year by crafting a unique wreath for each Sabbat. In this workshop, we’ll celebrate Lughnasadh (or Lammas)—the first of the harvest festivals, a sacred time to honor the fruits of our labor and the turning of the season toward autumn.
Learn About the Wheel of the Year:
Explore the traditions and symbolism of Lughnasadh, a festival rooted in gratitude, craftsmanship, and abundance. We’ll discuss its connection to the Celtic god Lugh, the grain harvest, and the rhythms of hard work, reward, and release. This is a time to reflect on what you’ve cultivated—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Create Your Wreath:
In this hands-on class, you’ll craft a beautiful harvest-themed wreath using dried grains, late summer flowers, herbs, sun symbols, ribbons, and charms. Each piece represents gratitude, sustenance, and the energy of transformation. All supplies are included for a relaxed, inspired experience.
Infuse Your Craft with Intention:
As you weave your wreath, we’ll guide you through a simple harvest blessing ritual to charge it with intentions of gratitude, prosperity, and continued growth as we begin the descent into the darker half of the year.
Take-Home Handout:
Each participant will receive a guide to the Wheel of the Year, the history and folklore of Lughnasadh, and suggestions for using your wreath in magical or seasonal home practice.
Celebrate the first fruits of the season, give thanks for your personal harvest, and craft a meaningful Lughnasadh wreath to honor the shifting light and your journey ahead. Not open
