This group is open to the public; participants need not identify with any particular tradition or religion to attend our meetings or rituals.

Join Horizon Pagans as we celebrate Lughnasadh, the Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest season. Lughnasadh, also called Lammas, is the halfway point between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox and honors the Irish Sun God Lugh. Lugh is a warrior, ruler, poet and craftsman. In his honor we celebrate all the bounty that the sun brings to the land and to our own physical, spiritual and artistic vitality.
Please bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner after the ritual. Please also bring a camp chair and/or blanket if you might like to sit outside around a fire after clean-up.
Optional: wear colors you associate with the sun.

Ritual begins at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall or Labyrinth, depending on the weather.
