Chinese lights in the zoo

If you like light figures and animals, then this event is for you. The Cologne Zoo is currently hosting the 'China Lights' exhibition. Hundreds of glowing Asian animal and fantasy figures give the Cologne Zoo a completely different atmosphere.

The thematically arranged figures were created by Chinese artists and also feature extinct animals such as dinosaurs, sabre-toothed tigers and cave bears. Interactive and photo stations allow you to stroll through an owl or take a seat in a dinosaur's mouth, for example.

Advance booking fees may apply. The ticket also includes a ticket for the entire VRS transport network. No admission to the zoo will be granted without your own ticket! There may be some tickets left at the ticket office, but this cannot be guaranteed, so please arrive a little earlier if you'd like to purchase your ticket on the spot.

We will meet at 17:30 p.m. outside the main entrance to the zoo.

For latecomers: We will meet inside the zoo, so please send me a message so that I can share our location.

The best way to get to the zoo is by tram line 18, stopping at Zoo / Flora directly in front of the zoo.
If you are travelling by car, the best place to park is diagonally opposite the zoo in the 'Contipark Parkhaus am Zoo' car park.

We can round off the evening in Cologne's old town.
