Interested in finding out how Data Science is used in banking? The talk provides insights on current and future data analytics applications at Sparkasse KölnBonn and Sparkassen Financial Group.

While presenting professional insights on how unsupervised and supervised machine learning models are used along the customers’ touch points, the main focus will be on customer analytics, such as predictive purchasing behavior, customer insights, and marketing analytics. In addition to analytical enhancement in sales modes, we motivate how Process Mining can be used to enrich Business steering and -development.

The professional aspects will be rounded off with a talk on 'Establishing a Data Culture'. Though 'Data' is said to be at the heart of digital transformation. Still, many organizations lack to create a movement beyond their data science labs and competence centers. We are looking forward to a lively discussion, on chances and pitfalls of analytical change management and anchoring a data culture in large, established corporations.
