Japan-Tag

Hi friends,

It's that time of the year again. I know that this group is about Cologne and whether you like Düsseldorf or not, Japan Tag is still a major event that is worth experiencing in NRW.

We will plan our trip early from 10:45 from Köln Hbf. Meeting point is BackWerk in front of Breslauer Platz as always and head to Düsseldorf on RE6 at 11:03. However, you are free to communicate with us and join us any time in Düsseldorf if that fits your schedule better. We will head to Takeo Ischi's show (highly recommended) after arriving at Düsseldorf Hbf. After that we can check out other stops in the list. Since it is a big place and people are free to visit different stops, communicating via Whatsapp might be necessary. We have created a chat group for this purpose. The important part of the day is the firework which starts at 23:00 near the river so we should not miss this. We will meet up at Marktplatz across Rösterei Vier Coffee Shop around 22:00 and walk to the river bank together so that we can have a good spot for observing the fireworks.

The way home will be rather difficult though with the public transport since there are many many people leaving at the same time so do consider going with the car if you can.
