IoT devices are popping-up around the globe at an amazing rate. Due to limitations in current IoT infrastructure, making these devices available worldwide and building value added services using their capabilities is a challenge! To make IoT device capabilities available for wider range of users as services and handle complexities of integrating them with other devices and systems, back end and middleware IoT platforms are essential. Cloud based IoT platforms are becoming popular in the IoT space.
The 6th session of the Colombo IoT will look at the capabilities of these Cloud based IoT platforms and their future direction.
