Quandry Peak Ascent (Saturday, Mar 21)

This is a big day to get on your calendar.

Quandry Peak is a gentle ascent up the avalanche-safe East Ridge. 3.1 miles and 3,100 feet, fairly consistent 22 deg slope (pictured on the left). The winds can get so strong, and be prepared for mixed snow conditions at the top. We can ski the fantastic bowl (pictured center) if conditions are stable. You don't have to go all the way to the summit.
