You must be a member of the U.S. Backgammon Federation to play in the league tournament. NO USBGF MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR YOUR FIRST EVENT. Basic USBGF membership is a $45 per year donation. WHERE: Hangar 101
TIME: Registration closes at 7:00pm MDT, play begins at 7:10pm MDT.
DETAILS: $20 entry fee with optional $20 Side Pool. Guaranteed two matches; Main with Progressive Consolation.
MATCH LENGTH: 7 Point matches for the Main, 5 Point matches for Consolation.
CLOCKS: Clocks are REQUIRED and will be available to borrow if you don't have one. Clock settings are 2 Minutes per point and 12 seconds Delay, which should be plenty of time.
DONATION: $10 (or 5% rounded to the nearest $5, whichever is >) of total entry fee and side pool from tournament will go towards Meetup, Colorado Backgammon, Denver Backgammon, future tournaments and the continued outreach for new players.
