The Colorado Boomerang Tribe has returned! Come and learn to throw humankinds oldest aerodynamic novelty. Returning boomerangs are not weapons and are not meant for hunting game, but evolved from hunting sticks called kylies.
My intention with the Colorado Boomerang Tribe is to provide you with a proper introduction and give you an opportunity to throw one for yourself. The returning boomerang is a wind game and attention must be paid to the environment as well as an effective throw to get an accurate return. You can expect to do plenty of walking to retrieve your boomerang when beginning and throwing to at least 20 meters with take a strong dynamic throw, you will have to put your body into it! Protective eyewear is a must as you will be the target.
Please bring your own boomerang if you have one otherwise I will be providing some for you to throw (I have a limited number of left handed boomerangs). I sell boomerangs generally for $25 but no purchase is necessary to come and give it a try.
