Please join us October 18 for ASMP’s 2025 Assistants Workshop.

• As always, we’ll serve up in-depth instruction sessions with respected photographers explaining what they need from assistants in their particular specialties and how to make yourself stand out.
• We’ll share discussions on budgeting, marketing, and pricing yourself as an assistant.
• We will prepare you to grow and succeed as you assist and learn from top professionals.
• Those completing the workshop will receive a certificate.

Pricing:

• ASMP Members - Free
• Non-Members - $50
• Student Non-members - $25 (use student email to register)

Students, upon completion your ticket fee will go towards an ASMP membership, where you can continue to grow, learn, and develop in your career surrounded by supportive and experienced professionals at all stages of their careers.

• 8:30am-9:00am - Arrival and gather in Mary Harris Auditorium
• 9:00am-9:30am - Welcome, Introductions, Group directions Mary Harris Auditorium
• 9:30am-10:30am - Groups go attend the first designated station
• Texas 114, Texas 115, Rude 001
• 10:30am-11:30am - Groups go attend the second designated station
• Texas 114, Texas 115, Rude 001
• 11:30am-12:30pm - Groups go attend the third designated station

• 12:30pm-1:30pm - Lunch in Rotunda Gallery
• 1:30pm-3:00pm - Panel Discussion in Mary Harris Auditorium

3:00pm-4-00pm - Wrap up and Happy Hour Mary Harris Auditorium and Philip J. Steele galleries.
