You will no longer be able to ride your OHV into town to eat, shop or get gas. If you stay at an RV park in town, you will not be able to ride to Eureka campground to join our rides, but possibly you could drop off and leave your machine at the campground.

Effective March 1st 2022, our club will use meetup to collect member dues. Each attendee must have their own meetup account and pay the $15.00 annual membership. If you would like to attend as a guest, you can join meetup free for 30 days. Silverton is one of the most scenic riding areas in Colorado. High mountain passes, scenic overlooks, lots of trails, and of course the Alpine Loop. There are many trails, and they are generally easy to moderate although of course there are some exceptions.

DOT approved helmets are required on all rides, and over the ankle boots, long sleeves and pants, gloves and eye protection are highly recommended.

We are staying at the Eureka Campground just outside Silverton. I will be reserving 1 group sites for our use unless people sign up early enough that I need to reserve more. Each site holds a minimum of 4 rigs, so we need at least 4 rigs in the 1 group sites. Each site holds up to a maximum of 8 rigs, or less if the rigs are large. They have individual sites too. Also they have electrical sites for $45.00. Tell me below in the comment section if you want to be in a group site or plan to get your own individual site, or plan to camp elsewhere. To make a reservation, call Terri at 970-618-3913. Email address is terri@eurekacampground.com. They will not take reservations until Feburary 1st 2023. The group sites have no hookups, only trash dumpsters. Fees are $25 per night. There are boondocking areas nearby if you are feeling lucky. But they are not very level. They are on the road to Eureka Campground, opposite the entrance to Maggie Gulch is a boondocking area. The coordinates are 37.854915, -107.57300.

Rides will leave each morning from the Eureka Campground and be posted the night before. Each ride will identify its level of difficulty, so choose appropriately. The number of rides each day will be determined by the number of attendees.

We will have a potluck Saturday night at 6:00 pm. Please bring a dish to share.

If there is no fire ban, nightly campfires will be held at the Eureka Campground. Please bring firewood if there is no ban. If there is a ban, please bring a propane fire ring if you have one.
