14th Annual Silverton Ride

Details
You can no longer ride into Silverton. If you would like to attend as a guest, you can join meetup free for 30 days. Silverton is one of the most scenic riding areas in Colorado. High mountain passes, scenic overlooks, lots of trails, and of course the Alpine Loop. There are many trails, and they are generally easy to moderate although of course there are some exceptions.
This event is for meetup members who have paid their $15 annual membership. Guests are welcome to join our club for 30 days free DOT approved helmets are required on all rides,
We are staying at the Eureka Campground just outside Silverton. I will not be reserving a group site unless people sign up early enough and 4 or more rigs in the site. Each site holds a minimum of 4 rigs, so we need at least 4 rigs in the 1 group sites. Each site holds up to a maximum of 8 rigs, or less if the rigs are large. They have individual sites too they are 35.00 a night. Also they have electrical sites for 50.00. Tell me below in the comment section if you want to be in a group site or plan to get your own individual site, or plan to camp elsewhere. To make a reservation, call Terri at 970-618-3913. Email address is terri@eurekacampground.com. They will not take reservations until Feburary 1st 2024. The group sites have no hookups, only trash dumpsters. Fees are $35.00 per night. There are boondocking areas nearby if you are feeling lucky. But they are not very level. They are on the road to Eureka Campground, opposite the entrance to Maggie Gulch is a boondocking area. The coordinates are 37.854915, -107.57300
Rides will leave each morning from the Eureka Campground and be posted the night before.
We will have a potluck Saturday night at 6:00 pm. Please bring a dish to share.
If there is no fire ban, nightly campfires will be held at the Eureka Campground. Please bring firewood if there is no ban. If there is a ban, please bring a propane fire ring if you have one.
