“This trail starts at the main Brainard Lake Road parking lot, just past the Pawnee Campground, and leads to Lake Isabelle via the Pawnee Pass Trail. It's a beautiful hike that passes through three glacier lakes.
The trail is well-maintained and relatively flat, offering a perfect mix of conifers, meadows, streams, and lakes. Along the way, you'll find great picnic spots and breathtaking views.”

👟 Pace + Vibe:
This will be a laid-back, no-pressure hike. I personally like to take it slow and enjoy the views (and snap lots of photos!), so if you’re looking for a race to the top, this may not be your hike. All paces are welcome, but just know we’ll be keeping things chill and scenic.

🎒 What to Bring

Essentials:
• Sturdy hiking boots or trail shoes
• Daypack (20–30L)
• 2–3 liters of water
• Snacks and/or a light lunch
• Layers (fleece or light jacket — it may be chilly early!)
• Rain shell or windbreaker
• Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Bug spray
• First-aid kit
• Headlamp or flashlight (just in case)
• Trekking poles (optional but helpful)

🚗 Carpooling:
If you’d like to carpool, drop a comment with how many seats you have or need so others can coordinate with you.

🐶 Dogs:
Leashed dogs are welcome, but ensure they’re comfortable with other hikers and dogs. Bring water and snacks for them too.

⚠️ Disclaimer:
This is a casual, peer-organized group hike. By joining, you acknowledge that you are hiking at your own risk. I am not a guide and am not responsible for anyone’s safety or personal belongings. Please hike within your abilities, be respectful of nature and others, and stay safe.

Looking forward to hiking this beautiful trail with awesome people. Hope to see you there! 🌲✨
