This is a fund raiser to support SOS Outreach (https://sosoutreach.org/)
You are still welcomed to join us even if you are not participating in the event. However, you might not be able to keep up with participants who will be going hard and fast to complete the event.
Carpooling Self-Organized
I will not be at the parking to organize carpooling, so I recommend:
Meet at Woolly Mammoth near the "DD" light pole/sign at 5:30 am and depart promptly at 5:45 am. We arrange carpooling at the parking so there is no need to post messages.
Please give your driver $20 CASH for gas, parking, vehicle use, etc. Please pay your driver at the parking lot in the morning before we leave. Also be sure to exchange phone numbers with people in your carpool.
EVERYONE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO BE A DRIVER!
I would love a volunteer to be the carpool organizer. Message me if you can help.
Parking in Beaver Creek
Option 1. Park in the Bear Lot or Elk Lot in Avon and take the bus ($13)
Option 2. Drive up to Beaver Creek and park at Ford Hall Garage or Villa Montane Garage ($50). For this option you need to get there very early. It fills up fast.
Meet on the Mountain 7:30-8:00am
We will meet near the fire pit outside of "Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea"
When you get off the bus go across the covered bridge.
Pickup your Talons Challenge Credentials.
Proceed up the first and second escalators to the third level.
I highly recommend getting the "What Three Words" navigation app on your phone. What Three Words Location ///hunchback.messaging.paperbacks
It will be very busy with people picking up registrations. We will meet early and try to jump on the lift as soon as it opens.
