Epic Skiing at Breckenridge

We have a wide range of abilities from beginners to advanced so there is always someone fun to ski or ride with.

Carpooling:
We'll meet at Woolly Mammoth near the "DD" light pole/sign at 5:30 am and depart promptly at 5:45 am. We arrange carpooling at the parking so there is no need to post messages. Please give your driver $20 CASH for gas, parking, vehicle use, etc. Please pay your driver at the parking lot in the morning before we leave. Also be sure to exchange phone numbers with people in your carpool.

EVERYONE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO BE A DRIVER!

Parking at Breck:
I recommend the Gondola lots or the Gondola Garage so that you can easily ride the gondola to Peak 8.

Meeting on Mountain:
We'll meet at 8:15am by the big silver statue of Uller at the base of Peak 8. A chance for all the carpools to connect and to grab a coffee or hot chocolate and use the restrooms. At 8:30am we will gather for a quick group picture by the ski racks outside the Ski Hill Grill near the lift line for the Colorado Super Chair. You can find me in my yellow/green pants and red/orange jacket.

Lunch:
We'll meet for lunch at 11:30am in the upper level of Vista Haus on Peak 8 at the top of the Colorado Super Chair.

Après Ski:
After skiing we can socialize and reconnect with our carpools in the Ski Hill Grill at the base of Peak 8. We will be inside to the left as you enter near the fireplace. Some people may arrive as early as 2:00 while others will ski until the lifts close at 4:00.

Ability Levels:
We have skiers and riders of all abilities from first time beginners to awesome experts. We start off on the Colorado Super Chair as a group and then naturally split up into groups based on ability and style. If you get separated from your group, then enjoy your skiing and reconnect at lunch or après.

Please choose to ski in areas within your ability. Don't let anyone talk you into going into difficult areas that you are not ready for. Not only is it dangerous or at least frustrating, but it also encourages very poor skiing habits. DO NOT ASK FOR OR GIVE ADVICE! If you want to learn please take a lesson from a Certified Professional Ski Instructor.
