What we’re about
Join Our New Meetup Group: Citizen Science with Concrete Couch!
We are excited to announce the launch of our new Meetup group, Citizen Science, under the nonprofit Concrete Couch. Our mission with Citizen Science is to provide a hands-on, project-based inquiry learning experience for kids aged six and up. At Citizen Science, we believe in engaging young minds through exploration and discovery.
Our sessions cover a diverse range of scientific topics, including physics, geology, ornithology, paleontology, and much more. Each session is designed to inspire curiosity while allowing kids to contribute meaningfully to the development of downtown Colorado Springs.
We invite you to join us in a safe and family-friendly environment at our newest creation, the Concrete Coyote Community Park in downtown Colorado Springs. Our classes are a wonderful opportunity for your children to learn while having fun and making a positive impact in the community! We welcome kids six and older, and please note that children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the class.
We meet every Monday, and we would love for you and your kids to be part of this exciting journey. To find details about our upcoming events, please see the list below.
