All Women's Ride with Optional Brunch

Details
Newcomers are always welcomed for the first ride without paying CSCC membership dues. You will be asked to join if you show up for a second ride. You can join the CSCC at https://bikesprings.org/join-us
This week, our ride is in the northeast part of town. We will ride along the northern part of the Sand Creek Trail to a 7 Eleven and then return. We will meet at the intersection of Emma Lane and Anna Lee Way intersection. There is a small park there that has access to the trail. We will start riding at 8:30 AM. After the ride, there is an optional brunch at my home. I live close to the trail. The route is approximately 10 miles in total with about 220 feet of elevation gain.
About half of the ride will be on gravel trails.
Brunch is provided.
The Women’s Ride is a casual (8-12 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There may be a planned rest stop along the route and will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. We will have a sweep if the group size dictates.
We will ride 10-20 miles depending on weather and road conditions. We will leave from various locations.
In order to participate in this event you must read the following in its entirety, read all updates posted in the comments thread, and respond promptly to all direct messages from the ride leader.
Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. You must bring a tire repair kit and spare tube to change a flat. Also a multi tool should be considered. It is your responsibility to have a working bike, dress appropriately for the weather, remain hydrated and to consume enough calories. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.
NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go”. The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page. Contact: Kimberly Heins (text only): (949) 413-3245
