Route: North on Cottonwood Creek and Havenwood Dr.

This Sunday's ride begins on the Pikes Peak Greenway and Cottonwood Creek Trail. After crossing Woodmen we'll continue on Flintridge Rd., Templeton Gap Trail and Rock Island Trail to the start. The route has one steep and several gradual climbs for a total of 21.4 miles and 1140 feet of elevation change. RideWithGPS route is as follows:

The Sunday Social Ride is a casual (8 - 12 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There may be a planned rest stop along the route, but we will have a “sweep” and will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. The ride leader will publish a Ride with GPS link to the route the weekend before the ride with a start location. You can download a free version of the app from your phone's app store.

We will ride 10-20 miles depending on weather and road conditions. Unless noted, we will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Centennial exit and ride in different directions each week.

Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABCs (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.

If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.

NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go.” The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.
