Wednesday Morning Ride

Details
Newcomers are always welcomed for the first ride without paying CSCC membership dues. You will be asked to join if you show up for a second ride. You can join the CSCC at https://bikesprings.org/join-us
ROUTE: This Wednesday we'll embark on a 20 mile route through UCCS and Rockrimmon. After riding east via Templeton Gap, we'll travel through UCCS, north on the Pikes Peak Greenway and continue through the Rockrimmon area. We'll finish through the Sinton Trail and back to the Greenway. The ride is rolling throughout with a couple of steeper climbs (1014 feet total elevation).
You should access this ride at the following link using the free version of Ride With GPS from your phone's app store:

The Wednesday Morning Ride is an intermediate (10-14 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There may be a planned rest stop along the route and we will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. The ride leader will publish a Ride with GPS link to the route the weekend before the ride with a start location. You can download a free version of the app from your phones app store.
We will ride 18-30 miles depending on weather and road conditions. Unless noted, we will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Centennial exit and ride in different directions each week.
Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. You should have a tire repair kit and spare tube to change a flat. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.
NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go”. The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.
