ROUTE: Greenway to Cottonwood Creek, to Flintridge, back down Templeton Gap Trail
This week's route goes up the Greenway Trail to the Cottonwood Creek Trail. After a moderate climb up to Cottonwood Creek Park we'll make our way to Flintridge Blvd (which includes a short but steep climb) for a nice downhill ride to Templeton Gap trail.
Distance is 19.8 miles with elevation of only 966 feet.

The Wednesday Morning Ride is an intermediate (12-14 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There may be a planned rest stop along the route, but we will have a “sweep” and will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. The ride leader will publish a Ride with GPS link to the route the weekend before the ride with a start location. You can download a free version of the app from your phones app store.
We will ride 18-30 miles depending on weather and road conditions. Unless noted, we will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Centennial exit and ride in different directions each week.
In order to participate in this event you must read the following in its entirety, read all updates posted in the comments thread, and respond promptly to all direct messages from the ride leader.
Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.
NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go”. The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.
