About us
For anyone interested in learning or improving their Russian and for native Russians/Ukrainians to join in and improve their English.
Beginners through experts are more than welcome! Those who speak get a venue to practice.
Join us and practice, no matter what your level. We sometimes have a member who teaches, and often watch Russian movies or TV with english subtitles. Members use a variety of different resources to learn and you can get plenty of recommendations.
We meet on Tuesdays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 11:00 am,usually in Room B6 or B2 of Library 21C on Chapel Hills.
The group is set so that you won't automatically become a member of the group until you have attended three meetings. We've had many people sign up but never attended, or come to one or two meetings and then stopped. This just costs extra. We tend not to use the Meetup RSVP, but haven't missed a meetup for a couple years now.
So let's get learning Russian and have fun doing it!
