Most of our writers express frustration over finding time to write. As a mentor, my first reaction is: "Set aside a specific time to write." In reality, it's usually not the time. It's the inclination. Active and employed adults often complain of unexpected involvements or interruptions. This usually stems from not having a routine or a plan.
By standardizing times to create a schedule, you'll find that you'll suddenly develop windows of opportunity. The practice of "habit stacking" can fill those slots with productive activities... like writing.
Now, about the group:
To new writers, there's no reason a good book shouldn't get published. You just need two things: a mentor and a great agent.
We can satisfy the first half of the equation.
Now you can spend four years and a couple of hundred thousand dollars to get a creative writing degree, or you can learn how to write with others for free.
This course provides a writer with what it takes to be an author. A deadline. We push for 5000 NEW words every two weeks. If you stick with it, your first draft can be completed in a year.
Think about it. How much have you really written in the last year?
About the workshop:
We've worked on hundreds of books over the years.
Call if you have any questions.
