The ladder's on the wrong wall
Details
Climbing the ladder is an appropriate cliche' for working on a successful career. Unfortunately, many writers begin their journey by placing their ladder on the wrong wall. They're told that if they only 'keep writing' they'll finish their masterpiece. What is more important to completing a novel is learning the skill set. Being good makes writing a lot easier.
We do both. We create a scaffold on which you can learn how to write while you write.

Now, about the group:
To new writers, there's no reason a good book shouldn't get published. You just need two things: a mentor and a great agent.
We can satisfy the first half of the equation.
Now you can spend four years and a couple of hundred thousand dollars to get a creative writing degree, or you can learn how to write with others for free.
This course provides a writer with what it takes to be an author. A deadline. We push for 5000 NEW words every two weeks. If you stick with it, your first draft can be completed in a year.
Think about it. How much have you really written in the last year?
About the workshop:
We've worked on hundreds of books over the years.
