One of the disciplines we focus on in our writing group is choreography. What? That's right, dancing. Well, actually it's deciding what to dance and how you'd like that dance to appear to the reader. For instance, fighting in books often takes on a the look of a frantic, unfollowable saber dance; or the writer says, "They fought. That guy got hurt."
The correct process requires acting it out and describing the action in a way the reader can understand.

Now, about the group:
To new writers, there's no reason a good book shouldn't get published. You just need two things: a mentor and a great agent.

We can satisfy the first half of the equation.

Now you can spend four years and a couple of hundred thousand dollars to get a creative writing degree, or you can learn how to write with others for free.

This course provides a writer with what it takes to be an author. A deadline. We push for 5000 NEW words every two weeks. If you stick with it, your first draft can be completed in a year.

Think about it. How much have you really written in the last year?

About the workshop:

We've worked on hundreds of books over the years.

Call or text if you have any questions.
