Celebrating Our Community – And an Invite to Laugh Together

Details
Hello fellow Spirit Animal traders,
I started this meetup group back in January 2013. Hard to believe it’s been over 12 years of monthly—and now twice-monthly—gatherings. Amazing.
Over the years, more than 1,300 unique individuals have come through this community. Some became regulars who are still with us today. Some pop in once in a while. Others joined us just once and moved on. But every single person who’s passed through has left an imprint—on me, and on everyone else who’s crossed their path here. This group has always been more than just about trading. It’s been about connection.
I created this group to hold space for like-minded people to come together and support one another. And that support goes far beyond trading.
We all need community. Whether you’re here to learn more about the markets, get better at what you’re already doing, or just connect with people who understand this path—we’re here for each other. That’s what this group has always been about, and always will be.
It doesn’t matter how experienced or green you feel. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been trying to pull money from the markets, what strategies you use, or even how you define success. What matters is that we’re stronger together. And it’s deeply reassuring to know we’re not alone—wherever we are in our journey.
My promise to you is to keep holding this space. And to keep experimenting with new ways for us to connect—whether it’s our traditional meetups, trail hikes, intimate small-group conversations, or just hanging out to laugh and be ourselves.
Speaking of which—some of you know that I perform with an improv comedy group in Longmont. The four people I perform with are, in my totally biased but deeply held opinion, the smartest and most talented improvisers in Colorado. Maybe even the entire Mountain Time Zone.
Our next show is Saturday, July 12th at 7:30pm at Jester’s Dinner Theater on Main Street in Longmont. I’d love to see some familiar faces in the audience. It’s a cheap, fun night out—tickets are just $12, the theater serves food and drinks, and there’s truly not a bad seat in the house. That said, it only seats 110 and we usually sell out, so don’t wait too long if you’re interested. Please get your tickets ahead of time to make sure there's a seat for you. You can grab tickets here.
Come on out for some laughs and something a little different on a Saturday night in the humble burg of Longmont.
I’d love to see you there.
