Camping and MUSICAL THEATER - FUN WEEKEND near Loveland

Camping and 3 choices of LIVE MUSICAL THEATERS (come to only one or all three live theaters, see below).....we will enjoy camping at Boyd Lake State Park....bring your tent, RV or trailer...REGARDLESS OF WEATHER! Even if it snows, you will have electricty at your site (even if you're new at camping, you can plug in a heater or electric blanket in your tent!), full bathrooms and hot showers, and biking around Boyd Lake and you can even catch fish for dinner (not me, I'll micro-wave or cook in my trailer and marshmallows over the fire). Theater fanatics join me at one or all three of the following musical/comedy theaters (at very afforable prices). Go online and book your own seat selection, we will go together and enjoy a meal or drinks before and/or after each performance. Its unusual to have three great theater choices on the same weekend....here they are:

FRIDAY, February 11th at 7:30 PM....THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED - Bas Blue Theater - Fort Collins - $20 per person......this one is for mature audiences only and contains brief male nudity and adult themes. In this hilariously naughty rom through Hollywood, we follow the adventures of Diane, a devilishly clever agent struggling to keep her budding screen idol client, Mitchell, in the closet and away from the sexy young drifter that has caught his eye. The New York Times called this Tony Award winning play, "Devastingly funny, with dizzy, irresistable writing that brings down the house." SATURDAY, February 12th at 6:00 PM...THE QUEEN'S CARTOONIST - Lincoln Center - Fort Collins, Colorado - $15 per person....Expect the unexpected when The Queen's Cartoonists perform live music to live projections of iconic cartoons! A show for everybody, regardless of age or familiarity with the concert hall. The Queen's Cartoonist' unique musical performances are synchronized to video of Golden Age and modern animations. The Queen's Cartoonists will lead the audience through a world of virtuosic musicianship, multi-instrumental mayhem and comedy! SUNDAY, February 13th at 2:00 PM...MESSIAH ON THE FRIGIDAIRE - Windsor Community Playhouse - Windsor, Colorado - $20 per person....The small town of Elroy, South Carolina is thrust into the evangelical spotlight when what seems to be the image of Jesus (or possibly Willie Nelson?) appears on a refrigerator in a trailer park. The discovery by Lou Ann Hightower, her husband Dwayne, and her best friend Betsy, sets into motion a frenzy of conflict, communion and good old-fashioned commerce - and FUN!
