We've been having a lot of fun coming together once a month working on our 2024 sketchbooks, journals, or poetry books with prompts for the entire year to guide our creativity at Jives Coffee Lounge in beautiful Old Colorado City. * I will provide the sketchbook prompts to get us all started on filling those books. Bring your sketchbook or journal and whatever medium you choose. Jives Coffee Lounge has awesome coffee, food, and desserts if you also want to order something from the menu, it all looks delicious. This space has a great atmosphere for creative people so see you there for some coffee and sketching, and/or writing. Please use event comment secton if you have questions. See you soon!

Come join us for a relaxing afternoon practicing the Mandala and Zentangle art forms. Both Mandala and Zentangle are considered meditative art forms focused on pattern. They also go well together to make what is referred to as a Zendala. And best of all, all skill levels are welcome as they are both considered a form of drawing that anyone can do.

Never drawn a Mandala? Never even heard of Zentangle? Fear not! We'll teach you and provide references so that you will be successful with your very first drawing!

Are you a seasoned Zentagler and Mandala drawing pro? Come join us to relax and draw with some peaceful music. Share your knowledge with others as they begin their drawing journey.

Participants are asked to bring their own materials, but we will have a few extras to share:

• Fineliner pens: Suggested sizes are .1, .3, .5
• Heavy paper such as a Bristol smooth. These can be cut down to size for Zentangle tiles.
• Graphite pencil
• Blending stump
• Eraser
• Compass (for mandala)
• Protractor (for mandala)
• Ruler (for mandala)

We will meet in Meeting Room B.

Get out of the heat and join us for a relaxing afternoon drawing or painting a beautiful still life. We will set up a variety of items to spark that creativity, including a skull, rubber duckies, flowers, glass, and more. Bring your medium of choice, an easel if you'd like, and practice those observational skills.

All skill levels welcome.
