Atalanta Fugiens Alchemical Text

Beginning at 7:20 pm, we will present the article "Atalanta Fugiens" from the Rosicrucian Digest. Atalanta Fugiens is Michael Maier’s 1617–1618 alchemical emblem book that fuses images, music, poetry, and prose to explore the secrets of nature and the pursuit of the philosopher’s stone, using the myth of Atalanta and Hippomenes as a metaphor. The topics discussed will be on Michael Maier, mysticism, alchemy, hermeticism, hidden truths, and reflection, while relating it to Rosicrucianism.
