We are going to continue into 2012 with, Retro Movie Night!!
At the Aurora Movie Tavern, they have Retro Movie Night on Tuesday or Thursday nights showing older movies that are classics. Imagine seeing a favorite movie on the big screen again! The movies show at 730pm, with getting there by 7:10-7:15pm in the lobby. Thursdays are right before the weekend, but depending on how others feel, we can move it to Tuesday if we get more people wanting that choice.
I also have a meetup at this location for a 1st run movie on the last Saturday of the month.
This theater is the eat in type. The food is like what you would find at a Chili's, Friday's or Applebee's. The food is good and fairly priced, you can go to movietavern.com/Retro-Aurora.php for more information on the upcoming Retro movies. They go a few months in advance at a time.
Let's see how this goes with a meetup during the week and go from there. I hope to see people out who like movies and want to have fun with re-visiting some classic films. We can also meetup earlier for a drink or later after the movie for a nightcap right at the theater, they have a full bar. I hope to see you all at the movies for some fun from the past! Thank you.
