ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
One of the most fraught and conflict laden aspects of helping ADHD youth to thrive regards tailoring and optimizing their school experience. This edutaining presentation will use stories, humor and magic to suggest practical strategies for realizing successful parent/teacher conferences as well as 504 and IEP meetings.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. David Palmiter is a board-certified clinical psychologist with 25+ years experiencing evaluating, treating, and teaching about ADHD. A past President of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, he has given over 250 workshops for 60+ sponsors, completed over 300 media projects for 60+ national outlets (e.g., NYT, WSJ, WAPO) and completed over three dozen publications, including two books on promoting resilience in youth.
