Seeking Accommodations on High-Stakes Exams and in the Workplace

Details

A Zoom link will go to all who register by noon on the day of the program. Watch your email for the link mid-afternoon. This event is sponsored by Greater Baltimore CHADD.

About the Program: Hear from two attorneys who regularly assist students and professionals with seeking accommodations for ADHD and other disabilities, in both the standardized exam and workplace settings. The program will explore the process for securing accommodations in a timely manner, what it means for requests to be reasonable, and how to challenge denials.
About the Speakers:
A journalist-turned-litigator, Chelsea Jones Crawford has extensive experience representing individuals and entities in complex civil matters, including federal civil rights litigation, commercial disputes, and serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. At Brown, Goldstein & Levy, Chelsea has obtained some of the largest settlements in the State of Maryland.
Neel Lalchandani represents individuals, nonprofits, and companies in a diverse array of civil rights and commercial matters. He has successfully resolved business and contract disputes as well as cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful convictions, reasonable accommodations and disability discrimination, fair housing, and the Randolph-Sheppard Act.
