The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay: Let's Discuss

Details

📚First off, a big thank-you to Tom for stepping up to host this month’s meeting and for selecting our next read, The Cabin at the End of the World, by Paul Tremblay. He’s also locked in the meeting location and date, so we’re all set to dive in. This one looks like a real page-turner—I can already feel the suspense building!
Also, a quick reminder that Monique has graciously volunteered to host for October, and we’re super excited to see what she’s picked out for us. She has great taste, so anticipation is high.
If anyone is interested in hosting for November, please reach out to me at **abby.king73@outlook.com**. We’d love to get you on the books early. There’s something energizing about having future reads lined up—it keeps the momentum going and gives us all something to look forward to!

Now, let’s talk about this month’s selection...

🏚️ They came with a message. The world is ending. Only you can stop it. Wen and her parents are enjoying a quiet vacation in a remote cabin when four strangers arrive, armed and unnervingly calm. They claim the apocalypse is near—and the only way to prevent it is for the family to make an unthinkable sacrifice.
As the intruders grow more desperate and the line between prophecy and madness blurs, Wen’s family must decide: is this a delusion, a twisted game, or something far more terrifying?
A heart-pounding tale of survival, belief, and the cost of love, The Cabin at the End of the World will leave you questioning everything—right up to its final, haunting page.
