SC Pride Parade - Walk with Us!

The Columbia LGBT Walk/Run Club is position C50 in the lineup. We will meetup/enter from the Sumter and Laurel intersection at 5:30pm.

The attached map shows 3 groups: A (1100 Laurel St), B (1800 Main St), and C (1200 Laurel St.) Each group will need to enter the lineup area from their respective intersection. A Parade Assistant will be on each block helping people get lined up in the right order. They'll be in neon safety vests and easy to spot. Group C (numbers C40-C57) Sumter and Laurel St - enter the lineup area here and go to your assigned position.

Timeline:
5pm- Streets closed off
5:30-6:30pm - groups line up (do not arrive before 5:30pm as the streets will not be cleared yet)
7:00pm parade starts I expect the parade to last around an hour and we'll end at Main St and Lady Street, right in front of The Palms on Main.

Parking: You can park in one of the parking garages downtown or in street parking. Main Street/the parade route will be blocked off with cones, so you'll need to park along Sumter, Assembly, or one of the side streets. The closest porta-potties will be at the intersection of Main and Hampton by the Columbia Museum of Art, so please plan accordingly.
