Hosted by the Columbia Pike Partnership, this group brings people together through social events, community programs, and local experiences designed to make it easy (and fun) to meet new people.
What you’ll find here:
- Happy Hours that are actually fun – themed nights like karaoke, wine tastings, DIY activities, and seasonal celebrations, often with games, interactive elements, and giveaways (Pike swag, drink tickets, and surprises)
- Columbia Pike Lunch Club – monthly lunches at locally owned Pike restaurants featuring guest speakers such as County Board members, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners
- Community & civic-engagement events – learn what’s happening in South Arlington and how to get involved
- Opportunities to support local businesses and nonprofits while connecting with neighbors
This group is for people who want to:
- Meet new people and make new friends
- Try foods from around the world in one zip code
- Enjoy social events that make it easy to talk to people (even if you come solo)
- Listen to local speakers and be part of community conversations
- Network in a relaxed, welcoming way
You don’t need to live on Columbia Pike to join, all are invited. Come for the food, stay for the people, and leave feeling more connected to South Arlington.

This month’s theme is New Year’s Resolutions (but make it fun) 🎯✨
We’ll be debuting our habit punch-out cards, where you can pick a goal you want to work on this year, big or small, and start punching it out with us. Think less pressure, more progress, and lots of good vibes.
We’ll have a cozy, casual night filled with conversation, laughs, and community connection.
Come solo, bring a friend, or make a few new ones: this happy hour is all about showing up as you are.

What’s Next for Columbia Pike? Lunch & Conversation

Columbia Pike’s Monthly Lunch Club introduces you to these beloved eateries while bringing neighbors, business owners, and community leaders together around the table.
Join us for our January Lunch Club at Soca Fusion, a vibrant Caribbean restaurant known for bold flavors and welcoming vibes.
Attendees will enjoy lunch while connecting with fellow Pike stakeholders and hearing from Matt de Ferranti, Arlington’s newly elected County Board Chair.
Matt will share insights on the year ahead, local priorities, and the future of Arlington’s most diverse corridor.
Lunch Club takes place on the last Wednesday of every month and is designed to spark ideas, build relationships, and support Pike restaurants: one great meal at a time.
