Serverless Microservice Architectures

Unfortunately our guest speaker for this month was called out of town for work, so Micro-frontends will be covered in our meetup next month. However, yours truly will present an intro into serverless and miroservice architectures. Microservices have been around for the last 5 or 6 years but there is a lot of confusion around what they are and when to use them. In this presentation I will attempt to clear up that confusion and demonstrate how to implement microservices using serverless technologies.

After the intro we will dive into an example application built on Azure Functions and Cosmos DB. If you haven't heard of serverless or microservices or just exploring the concepts, please join us for some coding fun.
