Join us to hear from myself as well as guest speaker Brian Julius on the subject of No CALCULATE! plus more potentially controversial views on DAX. Brian Julius brings a wealth of Power BI knowledge and expertise with over 30 years of experience in a wide range of data analytics/data science roles, both as a practitioner and as a senior manager of analytics teams.

About Brian Julius
I hold a B.A. in Economics and a M.S. in Public Policy and Management, both heavily focused on econometrics and other quantitative methods. After beginning my career in economic consulting, I worked 30+ years for the U.S. Federal government, in a variety of data-driven roles, as well as in a number of executive/senior management positions.

Since 2019, I have focused primarily on Power BI development, implementation and training, first serving as Project Manager on my agency's first large-scale implementation of Power BI. After retiring from the government in 2021, I began working full-time as the Enterprise DNA Chief Content Officer where previously I had served as a member of their Expert Team and a content creator. I currently oversee all the creation of all free and member-only technical content, and continue to serve as an expert and content creator myself.

I live in Washington, DC with my wife Sue and two charming, but ill-behaved cats who often can be seen and heard interrupting my YouTube videos.
