I'm new to the Columbus area and want to meet fellow bitcoiners, so I created this group and scheduled a meetup/ happy hour for January 2026.
Ideally, this would kick off a monthly meetup held on the first Wednesday of every month. They'd be casual events geared towards helping folks learn about how to get bitcoin, use bitcoin, and understand where it fits into current events. Topics would vary month-to-month, and we'd eventually bring in guest speakers to present.
They'd also be an opportunity to get to know fellow bitcoiners in the local Columbus area. I've always found it to be invigorating and inspiring to be around other bitcoiners, hear their stories, share lessons learned, compare notes, share memes, and so on.
